Q: Can N-MET be taken with food or drinks?
A: Yes. Because all of the components of N-MET are found in a natural diet, the formula is compatible with normally eaten foods and drinks. Since N-MET is a concentrated liquid with a tart citrus taste, it is recommended that each dose be diluted into a favorite drink whenever taken.
N-MET is highly concentrated and has a very tart taste. We recommend diluting each dose in at least 4oz of your favorite NON-DAIRY drink such as fruit juice, gatorade, or non-caffeinated soda....Diet soda is NOT recommended as it contains Phenylalanine.
Q: Can N-MET be taken in conjunction with medications?
A: In general, yes it can, because it contains only naturally ingested metabolites. However, if you are taking prescription drugs under a doctor's care, you should always check with your physician.
Q: What is the best dosage for me?
A: Every physiology is unique and effective dosage will vary.
Dosage can vary for every user, depending on need, body weight, age, diet, and current metabolic state (such as; high energy vs. low energy, high anxiety vs. low anxiety, angry vs. calm). Dosage can also vary with duration of use. As metabolism becomes more balanced, the need for N-MET may be less.
Please see the dosage guidelines and N-MET instructions found here. Users and caregivers should monitor the effects of the formula, and adjust dosage as needed. Maximum daily dose levels are listed on the label.
Always try to achieve the MINIMAL EFFECTIVE DOSE. Start with a low dose and increase as necessary.
If hyperactivity is increased, decrease the dosage amount and frequency.
Q: What result(s) should I expect from N-MET?
A: Again, because personal physiologies are unique, the effect of N-MET on individuals will vary. Users of N-MET have reported a calming effect, followed by an increase in energy.
Q: Will taking N-MET alter my sleep habits?
A: Because N-MET gives a calming energy boost, it should be taken in harmony with your individual daily energy cycle. Normal energy lows are experienced in the early morning just after waking up, in the late afternoon, and just before bedtime. By taking N-MET after awakening (usually 7 - 9 AM) and in the early afternoon (1 - 3 PM) beneficial calming energy boosts can be experienced. As a general rule, the last daily dose of N-MET should be taken 4-5 hours BEFORE bedtime.
